How cute is this?! Sleeping baby photos from artist Queenie Liao.  She posed her baby in different poses while he was sleeping. She says, “Everyday just before Wengenn’s nap, I would imagine him being the main character in one of my favorite episodes, and “paint” a background setting with plain clothes, stuffed animals, and other common household materials, just like how an artist would with her paint brushes.”

My best friend Jess got married this past October (for more Jess related posts, click here.)  The wedding was BEAUTIFUL and it was all captured on film by Lightfield Lewis, a wonderful videographer. Check out the video!  

It's a Shower!

My bestest friend Jess is getting married in a few weeks so to celebrate, her bridesmaids and I threw her and her future hubby to be, Danny a "Jack and Jill" Shower!  It was a great success! :)

Update: Blog Challenge

Have you visited my friend Jessica's blog lately? She's documenting her life as a busy student!  Gosh I can't imagine being in college again- the papers, the all-nighters, the constant studying... I am glad it's over! 

We're 17 days into our Blog Challenge and so far so good. It doesn't look like either of us is going to be giving in anytime soon!  Actually, we've inspired a friend of ours to start blogging again! Check out Livy's blog here! She is HILARIOUS!

I met my best friend Jess in the fall of 2005 when I visited my husband (then boyfriend) at school.  He introduced her to me and told me that he thought we would get along really well.  I wasn't so sure about this girl who liked to hang out with my boyfriend... Fast forward to the spring of 2006 when I transfered to the same school as Tyler and coincidentally up living in a dorm room down the hall from her.  I ended up not enjoying the company of my doormates and put in for a switch.  It turns out there was a vacancy in Jess' dorm room and I opted to move in with her.

Fast forward again to present time and I don't know what I would do with out her.  She is one of the most genuine people I know, she would do anything for me.

So what does any of this have to do with this blog?  Well, back in college Jess and I had a friendly competition based on changing our facebook picture every single day! Yes, we were really productive in college. 

Yes, I am the color of milk and I don't know what either of our faces are doing here...

Fast forward (I'm getting a lot of use out of that term today) to last week when I had the brilliant idea to start a blog based on my daily life when I remembered that Jess has a blog like that, too.  (Visit her blog HERE!)  Now don't get me wrong, Jess is a busy graduate student and I know she has a lot on her plate but she doesn't post as often as I want her to! (Haha) So I challenged her to a blogging duel! Same rules as before... new post every day until someone either forgets or gives up.

I will admit that back in college Jess did win our facebook competition so I am really pushing to win this one.  Let's face it, I have a cute kid... how could I run out of things to post about?!
