Letters to Everett: 6/22/13

Dear Mr. Everett,

You are twenty five months old! You are talking so much more this month and are repeating anything we ask you to say and even some things that we don't ask you to repeat. Your GaGa taught you how to count to ten in Spanish and you enjoy counting to anyone who will listen! You like to say "oh ya" and "oh man" when you're playing.  I can't keep track of the words you are saying because you say so many!
Since your baby brother has arrived, you have been such a sweet big brother!  You enjoy giving Nolan kisses and always want to hold him.  You instruct me to give you a "pi-dow" (pillow) to put him on and you do not want help in holding him.  We are still working on being gentle with the baby but you are doing great!
This month we went to Lake Anna for the first time and you had fun playing in the sand.  I think we will go back and take daddy next time so you can play in the water some more.  You love playing in the water but I think that you were a little scared of the lake!
The biggest news this month is that you are potty training! No more diapers for you big boy! You are doing really well and have only had a handful of accidents. You are getting better about knowing when you are about to go and run to tell me! When we first started potty training, I let you run around naked for two full days and you loved it! :)
You had your two year check up this month and you had a clean bill of health! I was very happy about that because you had been sick very frequently this past year.  You got to stand on the scale like a big boy to be weighed and measured.  You weighed 26 pounds (50th percentile) and were 32 inches tall (50th percentile)!  You still are wearing 18-24 month clothes and I think that you will be in them for a while especially now that you aren't wearing diapers anymore.  You are growing up so fast and are such an awesome kid!

Momma and daddy love you to the moon and all the way back!

xoxoxox,

Momma
