Celebration

Yesterday a very large group of people gathered together to celebrate Regina's life.  She was so special to so many people and I am glad that we were all able to be together during this emotional time. Fred has mentioned before that Mother didn't want a sad, traditional funeral and I am glad a  sad traditional funeral is not what she was given. She would have had fun yesterday with all of her friends, the memories, and the stories. She would have giggled her silly giggle at some of the pictures and I think she would have rolled her eyes (in the loving Regina way) at a few of them too. She was a very special lady and she truly did make an impact on every single person she encountered. I miss her every day but I know that life has to go on and that she would not want anyone to miss a moment of their life because it was spent being sad about her passing. She knew where she was going, and that was to be with Jesus. She went home and one day we will see each other again. Until then, I will remember all the good times we had together.
I love you Mother
