New Ink, New Diapers, and a GIVEAWAY

Today's post is a mash up of sorts! First up is the recent addition of some pretty pinks and purples to my half sleeve! I went back to Jack Brown's Tattoo Revival this past Wednesday to see Greg Howell (he's AMAZING!) He filled in the stargazer lily (for Sara, Tyler's step-mom), the lilac (for Teresa, Tyler's mom), cherry blossoms (for my mentor Cindy Day) and the hydrangea (for my grandmother, my mom's mom).  Check out this post to see pictures of my tattoo progress!

In other recent news, I decided to branch away from my normal pocket diapers that I use on Everett and try out a fitted diaper! (Wondering what in the world I am talking about?  Check out this post, this post, and this post for more information about cloth diapers!)

I asked my good friend Vivid who owns Monster Booty Cloth Diapers to make a pair of fitted diapers for me to try on Everett.  At first I was skeptical because I didn't understand the point of a fitted diaper  but I wanted to give it a try because they are so cute and fit so nice and snuggly.  Vivid also pointed me to an "at home study" (found here) that showed that a fitted diaper has one of the lowest temperatures when taken inside the diaper.  Why does this matter?  Well on a hot day when Everett is running around I want him to be nice and comfortable and not be sweating out of his britches!

I LOVE these new diapers and will certainly be purchasing more in the future. E was able to play and be dry in this diaper for a nice long chunk of time! I also used one of the diapers overnight last night with and econobum cover over it and when he woke up there were NO leaks!

Here's the GIVEAWAY!!

One lucky Not So Average Momma reader will be the winner of a $10 credit towards any Monster Booty Cloth Diapers All in Two or Fitted Diaper purchase.  To enter, simply leave a comment below!  The winner will drawn using Random.org and will be announced in my post on Monday, May 14th. Make sure to head over to the Monster Booty Cloth Diapers facebook page and "Like" it!
